Services

Two ways to bring intelligence-grade diligence into a leadership decision.

One protects a full board-level hiring decision end to end. The other answers a specific question about a specific candidate, fast. Neither is a rate-card commodity — every engagement is scoped to what's actually at stake.

Engagement Tiers

Choose the depth the decision requires.

Tier One
Full Behavioral Diligence

For board-level and C-suite hires — where the cost of getting it wrong is measured in years, not weeks.

  • Structured HUMINT interview (60–90 minutes)
  • Full behavioral & credibility analysis
  • Integrity risk assessment against role-specific criteria
  • 5–7 page Confidential Intelligence Brief
  • Private 60-minute executive readout
  • Follow-up question window with the assessing analyst
Typical turnaround: 7–10 business days Request This Engagement
Tier Two
One-Off Advisory

For a single finalist candidate, a specific concern to run down, or a second opinion before an offer goes out.

  • Single structured interview, scoped to the concern raised
  • Focused credibility & risk read on that specific question
  • Concise written summary (not the full brief format)
  • 30-minute advisory call to walk through findings
Typical turnaround: 3–5 business days Request This Engagement
What It Costs to Get This Wrong

The number search firms and HR rarely say out loud.

200–400%

of a role's total compensation — the documented cost range of a failed senior leadership hire, once every downstream cost is counted.

Severance & Search-Fee Replacement

Exit packages, plus the cost of running the search a second time — often at the original placement fee.

Lost Productivity & Momentum

Months of underperformance or an empty seat while the wrong leader is in place, compounding across the organization beneath them.

Morale & Shareholder Drag

Team attrition, stalled initiatives, and a credibility cost with the board or investment committee that authorized the hire.

Because role level, urgency, and organizational stakes vary so widely, EAG does not publish a rate card. Every engagement is scoped and quoted directly against the decision it's protecting — typically a small fraction of the cost above.

The Deliverable

What's actually in the brief.

Every Full Behavioral Diligence engagement ends in a Confidential Intelligence Brief, written the way an intelligence product is written — sourced, leveled, and built to hold up in front of a board.

01

05
Recommended Follow-UpSpecific questions or references worth pursuing before a final decision is made.
06

In Practice

How boards and principals actually use it.

01
Pre-Board Review

Circulated ahead of a board or investment committee vote, giving directors an independent, non-political data point on the record.

02
Executive Session

Walked through live in the 60-minute readout, where decision-makers can ask direct follow-up questions before committing.

03
Post-Hire Baseline

Retained as a documented baseline — useful reference if performance or conduct questions arise later in the executive's tenure.

Reading the Rating

What Low, Moderate, and High actually mean.

Low Lower Composite Band

No material behavioral or credibility concerns identified relative to the demands of the role.

Moderate Mid Composite Band

Specific, named concerns that warrant targeted follow-up before a final decision — not necessarily disqualifying on their own.

High Upper Composite Band

Significant credibility, integrity, or judgment risk identified. Proceeding without directly addressing the finding is not advised.
